Sigil 0.8.1 Released

Sigil 0.8.1 is now available! This is a bug fix release. See the Changelog for a full list of changes.

Also, the source package directory structure has changed a bit. A number of files that were top level have been put into a docs subdirectory. Further, the source zip package is now putting the everything in a Sigil-x.y.z/ subdirectory.

  1. Words cannot express how much I appreciate your work in keeping Sigil alive! It has become an essential tool in our book production workflow that I cannot now do without it, as code exported from InDesign, while workable, is far too verbose. Sigil allows me to strip out the fluff and optimise our ebooks in a way that just isn’t possible with any other single tool.

In case you felt under appreciated, I know that, like me, there will be a small group of users who have grown to rely on this software. So, from us all – thank you for your work!

  2. Hi John,

I use for work with epubs an old XP (SP3)-system – I can’t install the 32bit-version. The installer says: does not support version…
    What’s the problem?

    Greets, monty

  3. Ok,
read the changelog – but then delete the supported win-version XP…
Very sad… must work on with the old 0.7.4 🙁

  4. Thank you very much for your hard work. Been using this software for some years, and really appreciate it. Sorry cannot give you anything than ‘thank you’..
